During the winter months at Heritage Christian Academy, basketball and cheerleading dominate the calendar. Students from both the middle school and high school are able to participate in these sports. While members of the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association, the varsity boys’ basketball team won championships at the state level. Though Heritage is a relatively small school, it has seen a number of athletes compete at a variety of collegiate levels.
This year, for the first time in many years, the cheerleading team returned to competitive cheer competitions. Like some of the other sports at HCA, the cheerleading team has also earned state championship honors.
In addition, the 2023-2024 school year was the inaugural season for the Heritage Christian Academy Bowling Team. Students in the 7th-12th grades are eligible to members of the bowling team.
