Summer Reading List

Parents of 6th – 12th Grade Students for the 2012-2013 School Year:
Click below to find the summer reading list for 2012 and the book report template for one of the two books sixth grade students are required to read.
Sixth grade students must read both books on the list. Students are to complete the book report template (click below) for one of the books (your choice) and return it to Mrs. Harrell on the first day of school. A zero will be given on that date for reports not turned in on time. The second book report will be completed in Mrs. Harrell’s class during the first week of school. You may take handwritten notes in the student’s writing only to use for the book report that will be completed in class.
Each student is responsible for obtaining the books on the list. Condensed versions are not acceptable. The local bookstore, Books on Main, can order the books on the summer reading list. Many of the books are available in the store. You can also find the books at Books A Million in Clarksville. I would also recommend ordering the books online from amazon.com.
